Cosmetology is definitely in my blood, I joke about a gene for it and if there is one I have it. In high school, I was doing updos for formal occasion’s and whoever would let me cut, color or style their hair I jumped at the opportunity. I also did fun things to my hair believing I was my own best advertising and that really proved to be true. After high school there was no doubt in my mind that the next move was Capri Beauty College of Cosmetology, where I learned all the pivot point basics of hair. I graduated in 2000, early and 2nd in my class. During and after school I did internships at Doyle Designed, Robert Jeffrey, and Ulta.  I learned a great deal of information but believed the only way to really learn is to just do it. I did just that by going to a HairCuttery where I knew I could master REDKIN color , get my timing down and do countless types of cuts on all ages of people.
After two years in the corporate hair world, I knew I had to work for myself. In 2002, I joined the creative team at the legendary Milios hair salon as an independent contractor. It was there that I stayed for ten years happily building a clientele that much of whom are still with me today. I truly agreed with Milios mantra, to give the client exceptional, quality services at an affordable price. After all how can one maintain their awesome look if it’s priced too high for them to do so. During my hair career I have done onsite weddings, hair shows and had my work featured in New City, Reader and Time Out magazine.
Through the years my love of hair and helping people has only grown stronger. In early 2012, I opened a little salon in my home. I wanted to create a relaxed atmosphere for clients to come and get their services for an affordable price. I primarily work from home now and enjoy delivering one on one attention to my clients to really make them feel special and well taken care of.  Also, I offer you house calls, if you can’t make it to the salon because you have a little one, or my location is too far or whatever reason there may be, I am happy to bring the salon experience to you. I have been a licensed professional for 14 years and going strong. I love cutting hair women men and children, coloring, updos and weddings and look forward to meeting you.
